About the event

Discover how awe in the natural world can deepen personal storytelling. In this four-week class, we’ll read classic and contemporary nature writers and explore how their work weaves observation with memory. Through guided prompts and discussion, participants will create two short vignettes—one rooted in nature, one in personal experience—and learn to braid them into a cohesive narrative. By the end of the course, each student will have a draft of a braided essay that connects the outer landscape with the inner life.
