The body knows things the mind keeps trying to name. In this four week class, we follow sensation into character, emotion, and story. Through craft lessons and generative prompts, you will learn to write scenes that feel inhabited, grounded, and true.

About the event
Writing With Your Whole Nervous System is a four week generative craft course that teaches writers how to use the body as a precise tool for emotion, tension, and character. We will move from noticing real physical sensation to building fully embodied scenes, exploring how breath, posture, gesture, and nervous system patterns shape story. Each week blends craft discussion with guided exercises, close reading, and supportive sharing. By the end, you will have a new relationship with your characters, a deeper sense of narrative embodiment, and several revised scenes that carry emotional truth on the page.
